| | It brings me relief to log odd milage - we were in the car a lot driving or walking/hiking in Yellowstone yesterday; so I went for a shake out run. Then in the afternoon I completed a 60 minute yoga with stretch/strength and some balance poses. SOOOOOO good to be back doing yoga. My challenge to myself is yogaeverydamnday in July (had to jump start it today) Hope to see core and arm strength return like it was when I was teaching yoga during second trimester this last year. Five days a week, twice on two of those days!

| | Next time I will head over to the track earlier - so hot @ 9 a.m. for speed work out! So this is what I got this morning - 1 mile warm up, 4 -600's with 4 -400's in between. The 600's averaged a 7:36 pace. Rex then drove the girls home and I ran home for 2 mile cool down. Wanted to do about four more 600's but was too hot and queasy feeling. But feeling so good, so praise up!

| | The good and bad about working on speed...yesterday was speed, 10 mile bike ride on Sandra's road bike and a 30 minute deep yoga stretch routein. This morning I was suposed to go out and do a warm up mile, 5 mile tempo at an 8:43 pace and a cool down mile. Here's how it breaks down: mile 1 - 8:43 for the warm up, mile 2 - 8:16, mile 3 - 8:21, mile 4 - 8:27, mile 5 - 8:31, mile 6 - 8:34 and mile 7 was a nice slow 9:29 pace. I stopped multiple times bewtween miles to gather myself. This was a tough run mentally, I felt all over the place. I think tomorrow's run in Twin Falls will be nice and easy before we head up to Sun Valley for the day of bike riding. Love Summer Time!

| | Ran in Twin Falls - 85 degrees, but was thankful for cloud coverage on our Independance Day!! The run had some good hills to conquer so that was fun! I averaged 9:29 pace, which I was ready to take it nice and slow, but pushed on the hills. Longest run I have ran in quite a while!
