Another gorgeous and mild winter day, almost perfect for a speed workout on the track. Headed to Redmond HS which is an automatic 4 mile warmup. The workout was mile repeats...four of them on two minutes rest at 5:00-5:02 pace. I was admitedly worried about being able to hit those times, but despite a bit of a wind, was able to go 4:59, 4:59, 4:59, 4:58. I probably could have done another but was plenty happy to stop at four. |
