Early morning workout before heading down to Portland for a funeral.
4.5 mile warmup to the track. 7M around the track with the first 5 @ 5:20 and the final 2 @ 5:05. All first five miles were within 5:18-5:21. Final two were in 5:06 and then 4:58.
I was really doubtful about this workout going into it. I ate too much the night before and the early hour seemed...early. But once I got into it, everything went pretty easy. In fact, even the 4:58 was not quite all out. I feel like I could have laid down another one or two miles that were sub 5:05. So a really good workout followed by a 4.5 mile cool down. |
