Man 5:30 came quickly. So 9 hours after finsihing my 13 mile run last night I got up to do my workout this morning. Perfect morning weather wise. Low 50s, thick marine layer and even a little mist. The workout was 7M@5:28 plus 1M@something faster that that.
First mile I must have still been asleep: 5:38. I just wasn't concentrating. The rest were in the 5:25-5:28 range with the final one coming in at 5:13. I wore my trainers rather than my racers just to give my calves a break. It felt like I was wearing boots. |
