Ran track my junior and senior years in high school and cross country my senior year. Went to BYU but did not run. Served LDS church mission to San Bernardino, CA. Started running again in April 2005. Marathon debut was St. George in 2005.

I coach the Mount Si High School Track Team (distance)

Been married for almost 17 years. My wife, Mara, and I have four kids ages 16, 14, 13 and 11.

Woke up to an inch of snow and heavy snow showers for most of the run. It was beautiful. Hoping to get at least 8 more miles in this evening and maybe even 10.

Almost 10 more this evening. I'm hating my Trance 8s now. They seem so much heavier and more rigid than my Infinity's. I will give them another few days to break in but may switch back tot he Inifinitys.

Great job on getting out in the snow. I woke up this morning to snow and crawled back into bed. I hope to get out and run in the day light. You are hitting some great miles! Are you running a race some time soon?
