What's wrong with winter? Snow and ice on the roads. Cold wind blowing in your face. Slipping and falling on your backside. What's there to not like about it?

I’ll add another: Freezing off, or in other words temporarily numbing certain parts of your body. This would include, but it not limited to all appendages and digits.
