I really needed to get back out onto the trails, so I hit up VB for a nice morning run. I put on some sweet eighties music in my ipod and got into a really good zone. The Fall colors were impressive and in one section the reds on the maples were incredible, almost electric. I didn't have a lot of time today so I pushed it pretty well. I ran the entire way up and when I hit the summit I didn't even stop to take in the views. Everything felt great on the way down and I had a nice cruise.

View Benchmark. I miss it. Sounds incredible! Maybe I'll have to hit it as a recovery run next week. I certainly won't be running all the way up :)
