I'm trying to take it easy this week, so I did 3 after everyone was in bed. My legs feel pretty good but I don't want to push it. I really need to get out next week for a long run and see how I do.

I think that you are doing great considering that you have recently been running. Give your body time to recover, and don't fret about it. If you are doing efficient Xtraining, you don't have to worry. You will do well with your first marathon.

Thanks Bec. I think I am going to get out next week and do a loooong run (well, for me anyway) to see how I do.

Hey man, resting this week is the right thing to do. Not resting enough has been my big problem. Allow yourself to heal.
As for next week's long run, I have a great idea. It is what I call the Brighton / Alta Figure 8. I think it will be about 14 or 15 miles with lots of elevation gain. Want to do it with me?

Hey Jun, that sounds like a lot of fun and I want to do it for sure. It will have to be later in the week though. How about Thursday or Friday?
