We had a perfect lunchtime run to the summit of VB via Ann's in Draper. The weather was perfect and it felt so nice to have the sun on us. The trails were in perfect shape and we had fun chatting the whole way up and down. I was up in 45 minutes and our round trip time was 1:21. It was a great way to get my weekend started.

That is a moving time up there! Nice job. What's the taper plan for the 100 in 18 days?!

My taper plan is to get 50-60 miles this week, 35-40 next week (most of them early in the week) and then taper it off later next week. My legs are feeling really fresh, so I don't mind getting some miles. I have mostly been worried about the ITB flaring up, but so far it has been fine the last few weeks.

Ha, 50-60 miles would be the extreme upper end of any of my training! Let me know the next time you're up for a VB or LM run.
