I woke up this morning to 4+ inches of snow on my driveway, and I was glad we had cancelled the Lone Peak climb. I hit the gym early before work to lift, and I had a very good workout. Did upper body, and my right arm is a bit sore from my fall yesterday. I have a nice bruise on my forearm and a road rash from my shoulder all the way down. I was a little worried about lifting, but didn't have any major pain.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Darn snow is never gonna let you climb! but, it is pretty out there!! And we could use a little more snow, right? I just can not believe that at one point we hit 57 degrees yesterday. Only in Utah!

Have a good weekend.

Kelli- Yesterday while climbing Olympus it was snowing hard on us one minute, and the next I was shedding clothes down to short sleeves. I'm ok with it snowing, but every time I have planned to climb Lone Peak we have had a storm. Never fails. Hope you have a good weekend too.

Hope your arm continues to get better.

Fall!?!?!?!??! OMG! Owies, Must go read your entry from yesterday, I am sure you wrote it up..Hope you didn't have to shovel with that arm..I shoveled 1 hour this morning, I felt like a grannie cuz it was hard on my low back..been a bit irritated from the cycling...

Utah county must have gotten more snow, ours was all melted by about 1.

Take care, use neosporin!

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Mar 05, 2010 at 18:16:38 from 66.239.250.209

Missy- I haven't shoveled yet, but I'm sure I probably will tonight. I'm hoping a lot of it will melt. Yeah, when I was getting ready to go to the gym this morning I was thinking "What am I doing, I should just take the day off and rest my arm", but I am glad I didn't. Everything felt really good. My shoulder just feels like I had a tetanus shot, so I skipped shoulders today. I think you would actually love doing a hike like Olympus. There was plenty of technical obstacles on the trail, and we went pretty fast, and even ran a bit too.

Kelli- I brought a tube of Neosporin from home to work today. :) Need to sooth the meatloaf. A side note, your sis-in-law became my facebook friend today. Was kind of cool seeing what she has been up to.

Emalee??? What did she say, I wonder....

From Scott Wesemann on Fri, Mar 05, 2010 at 19:03:48 from 66.239.250.209

Kelli- Yes Emalee. I didn't chat with her... I just looked at her profile.

Ew on Meatloaf again..I am cringing again!

And you are lucky you didn't shovel since it seemed it melted everywhere, I have an icy north facing drive tho, so I have to shovel or else..haha.

I DO like to hike, I just get impatient, This summer I Hope to take my family backpacking alot, try and slow down and enjoy the scenery!

From Scott Wesemann on Mon, Mar 08, 2010 at 01:50:06 from 75.162.73.244

Missy- My son told me today my knuckle looks like burnt steak. Ha. Doesn't sound as bad as meatloaf.

My wife said we had 10 inches when it quit, but it was almost all melted by time I got home. House faces west. That was a weird storm for sure.

When the snow melts I'll give you a few hikes to do that will get your attention. I am not a fan of boring hikes.

From missy on Mon, Mar 15, 2010 at 12:41:57 from 63.230.0.70

So it's not just me...Boring hikes do exist! Yes, please tell me where the interesting hiking is..You know what I want to do, I forget what it is called and am too lazy to look it up...

I believe you have to be certified, not anyone can go down in these caves..you go into deep caverns and explore for days...How cool would that be..I want to start doing that...adventure...

Are there any adventurous hikes in Utah..
