I am soooo sick of the TM, but I hate running after dark in the winter, so it will have to do. I think I may run over at the gym just to mix things up a bit. I am also going to go climb something this Friday morning I think. got my new snow shoes and want to try them out.

I like your new profile picture, that little boy of yours is sure a cutie!

Have fun with your snow shoes, I am sure enjoying mine!

Too bad you don't live closer to SLC to try out the Oval, it sure beats the TM!!!

Hey there Scott. :D Mmm Yeah those treadmills are a Blast! Do you rock climb Mr. Mountaineer?

From jun on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 10:49:09 from 63.224.104.209

Missy, he tries. He goes climbing with me every now and again.

Scott, what kind of snowshoes did you get? They make some for running/racing. I'd like to get a pair myself. What mountain are you going to do? Maybe I can tag along and bring Devin. No?

Hey Jun...I have a lil bit of outdoor rock climbing experience. I'm Going to take some sort of outdoor instruction this spring so I can feel independent out there. I'm not talking like...little housewife tries something new..I'm talking I am going to tackle this sport!! Hey Maybe I will take a Mountaineering course too. :D

Missy, I love to rock climb, but I'm not as good as Jun, and I need to get out more. You should come with us sometime. Jun has been helping me for years. He is very good. We also do a lot of mountaineering and peak bagging, and there are plenty of great peaks to climb for beginners in the Wasatch. You are welcome to join anytime.

Jun, I got MSR Denali’s. They are more of an all purpose snowshoe, but they are really good on steep terrain. I used a pair on Lone Peak last winter and they were great. Can you take a day or half a day off next week to do Mill Canyon?

From missy on Thu, Jan 07, 2010 at 16:45:14 from 75.162.127.188

That sounds Awesome Scott, You and Jun are my idols now! ...I have a harness and some climbing shoes sitting in my closet, they are lonely for me! Well I would be the beginner there for sure..A class or two will get me some exp. I learn quickly. :D ~Missy

Most of what we do on the rock is bouldering, but once in a while we will get on a rope. The nice thing about bouldering is you don't need much gear, but it can be a little harder than sport climbing. Have I confused you yet? :)

Don't worry about being a beginner. I still climb mostly easy stuff, and there is a lot of it around here.

Nope Not confused Scott! Can't wait to get my chalk bag out! :D
