Up at 4:00 am to hit the trails. Ran to the summit of VB. It was still dark when I started and one of the planets (Venus?) was incredible in the eastern sky. I also saw one of the biggest falling stars I have ever seen. So cool. I put in a really solid effort and when I finished I still had some time so I went back up two miles and then ran fast back to the trailhead. I didn't see another person on the trail.
