A nice little stroll (walking in jeans) around Daybreak lake with Rachel, Paul, Christine and George.   It was nice to chat about Ogden, enjoy the scenery and enjoy some donuts (Dunford of course) and chocolate milk.

I chose the scenic Urban trail as my first post marathon run.  Everything felt great and the pace was nice and easy.

No running but I did head out on a backpacking overnighter with Boy Scouts.  We backpacked up Dry Canyon (near Strawberry) a total of 2.75 miles with 1200 ft of elevation gain.  Finished at 8900 ft.

Set my phone alarm for 5:15am to run down the canyon to the highway and back up to our camp sight.  The temperature was perfect with a little bit of wind.  Going down was nice, easy and very scenic (as well as going back up), but going back up was definately work.  Between getting to bed around 11pm, a snoring tent mate, and backpacking up the evening before my legs were feeling it on the way up (1500 ft elevation gain).  There were good sections of power hiking.  All-in-all it was beautiful and a great way to enjoy the canyon.
