Are you shooting for 70 miles this week or what?

From Chad Robinson on Wed, Nov 10, 2010 at 15:07:37 from 67.136.62.186

I actually plan to hit 60. I did 9.5's all last week so I figured another 0.5 wouldn't hurt (of course I could do without the cold weather). I plan to hit 70 the first of the year.

Yesterday was BRUTAL! I wanted to go out in the afternoon, but the wind scared me right back into my house!!

Great job, 70 will be a breeze for you. Seriously, you are NOT invited to the Herriman Stake 5k next year. You will beat everyone by way too much and I will be eating your dust.

Are you going to do the Riverton 5 miler on the 20th? We will be volunteering at the water station. It is a good and super cheap race.

From Chad Robinson on Wed, Nov 10, 2010 at 19:51:52 from 208.110.158.185

Yep, I registered early. It is kind of a crazy course though. I plan on running it a few times this Saturday. I just may have to grab some water though.

I'll be like Dash on the Incredibles and only win by a little.

My son's scout troop will be handing out water. I bet their little hands are going to freeze! We can only hope it is so cold no one really wants any water.

I have not looked at the course, but I thought the water station was at an odd place. I will have to go check it out.

Kelli, is it a 5 miler? The city's website says calls it a 5k.

Way to get out there for 10 each night Chad. That's dedication.

From Chad Robinson on Thu, Nov 11, 2010 at 02:07:00 from 208.110.158.185

It is a 5k, there is a link to the course map on the Riverton City web site. It shall be an interesting race.

Thanks Calvin, my joys now are turning away from the wind and walking in my front door.

From Kelli on Thu, Nov 11, 2010 at 10:11:05 from 71.219.65.246

Maybe you are right! It was a 5 miler last year so I just assumed that it was again! It would make sense since the water station is at mile 1.5---that would be half way. Are you running it Cal?

From Calvin on Thu, Nov 11, 2010 at 10:13:19 from 66.133.117.3

I'd be more tempted to run it if it was a 5 miler instead of a 5k.
