The wind kept me up all night which was annoying, but its ok I had time for a nap today :) we went up to the road above the C. It was a 60%, it was really hard for me. I fell off the group and was kind of discouraged but tried to stay positive and work through it. Clinton drove the van behind me so whenever I hit an uphill I had to fight the temptation to stop and hop in. It was even harder when Maggie got in but I figured that was because of her knee, and told myself to keep going. When we turned around Paige and Angie hopped in, both were having problems but man I really wanted to stop. Cause it was at the bottom of the huge hill and I was hurting. But I told myself I needed to push through it and finish the whole thing. Happy with the effort and pushing through the hurt. |
