Hahahaha that was fun! It wasn't bad for my first time but now that I know what it's like I know I could cut a lot of time off. I think I would do it again if I could, it was interesting. Didn't feel like a race though, it was weird racing at BYU with hardly anyone there. I probably could have pushed harder too I sort of just ran between a lot of the barriers. The barriers slowed me down a ton, my hurdling skills are spectacular ya know? No they're awful I was just happy to clear them all :) The water pit was fun. I did it the way Bill said not to do it a couple times though and would pause on top of the barrier for a minute before continuing, or so it felt. Anyway, it was fun, great experience. Did a 2 mile run then 1 mile speed changes and 1 mile cool down on the track (they weren't using it anymore.) I'm gonna get that state qualifier in the 3200 tomorrow!

Sarah, You now need to add the Steeple Chase to your running accomplishments. Oh and you did great leading the way for our East Squad that we had all of our east runners finish in the top 10:) We scored 9 points and are in 2nd in team scoring after one event...The BYU meet is off to a good start. For a first-time, trial run, you did amazing and getting a prized BYU medal to boot, What a great day. Maybe you can do it again at Great Southwest, you would easily drop a minute or more.
