4 miles warmup for the 3200. I got out fast, went out in 74. Was surprised cause it didn't feel that fast. Then relaxed never quit like I have in the past, I kept going but I think physically I was just tired. Two laps in the middle slipped too much. A little disappointed, but we've had a tough week of training plus I was sore/tired from steeple yesterday (and was still half asleep 2 minutes before we lined up.) But I won! It was really hard being in the front the whole time, I was in first from gun to finish. Happy though cause I got myself to kick a little.

2 miles cool down then 1 mile warmup for the 1600.

Eh. Wasn't good. I think I was still in 3200 mode. Hard to get myself moving. Came through 800 at 2:37 though so it wasn't bad at that point, for some reason I really slipped the third lap. Wind really picked up for this race and 3rd lap was when I felt it most so that may have contributed to the slow time. But I actually kicked. 5:27, yikes. But again, I was tired.

1.5 cool down with Jakob, Diwas, Garek and Bill to cafe rio and back. 2 big disappointments - the quesadillas we ordered were really small and I broke my garmin. More sad about the second one but I'll get it fixed, it's just the band part. I think it will be a cheap fix I was just worried at first that I'd have to pay for a whole new garmin. I love my garmin so much we are buddies.

.5 warmup for the 400. Hahahaha I'm not a sprinter but Bill put me in it because it's supposed to be part of our training. It was a 67, for being in lane 8 and windy I'd say that's pretty alright. And I didn't react to the gun as quick as I should've. Haha the girl in lane 7 asked if I prefer not using blocks. I have never used blocks and don't think I ever will. But it is a little awkward being the only person standing up. Distance runners.

.75 warmup for the 800. By then I was exhausted but I never gave up. Came through at a 72 and closed with 75. Outkicked a girl the last 100! Feels a lot better to be the one catching others not the other way around. 2:27.

5 cool down with Garek, Bill and Chris. Then added another .25. Good day, got me a good workout and it'll help big time for State. Sure times were slower but I don't care cause I worked hard and know it's gonna pay off. After all, it's not every weekend you run the 2000 steeple, 3200, 1600, 400 and 800.

Shout out to Garek cause he PR'd twice.

Shout out to the boys Medley for qualifying for state.

Shout out to Sarah Spiro cause I followed her on Instagram.

You rock :) also 18.75 for the day....goodness gracious. Steeple sounds like it was fun, I'll be interested to see how you develop in that event from here on out!! Best of luck preparing for state!
