Speed. We did normal track warmup, then a mile, stretched, another mile, and a mile speed changes. Then we changed shoes and did a lap. Workout was 5x1000s, I was supposed to hit 3:35. Bill made me do two more because I didn't hit my time. My times were 3:33, 3:36, 3:34, 3:38, 3:48, 3:45, 3:37. The only reason the 3:37 counted was because it was on my 7th. It was really tough. By the end it felt like my legs were going to give out any second. After recovery they were okay but right when I stopped it felt like it. It was a hard workout but I'm glad Bill made me do more because I know it's important to hit my times. And I'm not going to miss state qualifying by a half second again, so it was necessary. Did a mile and a quarter cool down.
