Madly in love with Sasha. We have been married since 1996 and have been blessed with seven of the most adorable and talented children : Benjamin, Jennifer, Julia, and Joseph, Jacob, William and Stephen.

| A lady who sees me on the trail everyday came up to me at church and said I looked like I was going slower..duh..of course I'm going slower...I'm just a little over a month away from having a baby. Sorry..I can't stand it when people make obvious comments about your pregnant state and think they are clever. Another old man told me I was more beautiful pregnant. ??? How do you take a comment like that? I told him I'd take it as a compliment. I'm off to the parade with my kids. Julia has been sick and keeping me up at night the past couple of nights so I'm gonna take it easy today. It's still 4th of July here in Provo. :)

| I was so swollen tonight that I couldn't tie my own shoes to go on my run. I went with Sasha and he said 1 mile..but try to break 11. It actually felt great to move my legs and go faster than a snail. It was one of those crazy crazy days though and I ended up tripping..didn't land on my belly..and then a ferocious princess dog (seriously it was wearing a princess outfit) came after me. Those two things slowed my time down a bit because Sasha..the dork..kept running and didn't notice my dilema and didn't stop the watch while I chased down the dog and recovered from falling. I got a nice apology when he realized what happened but it wasn't the best end to my day. The terrific thing about the run, however, was my swelling went away and I could move again. As you all know..running is a beautiful thing.

| Okay so coach Sasha has given me a training plan for the next few weeks..Ha!! We'll see how it goes. I'm only allowed to run 2 miles but I need to run them fast. Well relatively fast. 11:30 pace is the goal. I typically slow down to like oh..20 minute pace and watch butterflies and old women with arthritis pace me with ease...but I'm going to try it out and see how it goes. I have been trying it on and off this week and it is okay so far. Just as long as 1. I don't go into preterm labor on or after my run because of pushing myself I'm good. and 2. I have to feel good enough during the day to keep things relatively sane on the homefront. Today I went to the library, a store and the mall with all the kiddos. Then I registered the car and made delicious soup for dinner. I'm saving the rest of the laundry and the bed making for hubby to help with..like right now..almost bedtime... | Add Comment |

| Did a 2 mile workout with GeriAnn. She and I both tried the faster pace today and we could do it!! I was so happy for us both! Sasha then tried to have us do a 100 meter dash at 8 minute pace because he's nuts. The pace felt good actually but my groin has an old injury that started hurting at that pace. | Add Comment |

| tired run..but I made it. We went to Goblin Valley with the kids today and had such a nice time. I really enjoy the day trips we've taken over the past couple of years. The valley full of goblin shaped rocks was the ultimate playground for the kids. We got lucky in that it was a little bit overcast and we didn't die from heat. The kids had the time of their lives running from fort to fort..conquering as much territory as time would allow. We wore them out ..and then went home..perfect! | Add Comment |
