Very Cold Very windy not nice on a bike
I had my birthday Yesterday and my present was triathlon bars
Mmmmmmm nice bars the ones sticking out the front.... ok I did not have time yesterday to actuallly try them out except for in the shop to make adjustments and they did raise the seat allot and move it forward so I will be using different muscles on the bike now!!!
So Race day
5k run 18.38 mins slower than last time but Im tired I didnt taper this week and it was windy I was struggling after half way !
10 mile bike 30;39 about a min slower than last time omg the wind was horrendous I tell you this bike section hurt from the start and just got worse I pushed to the max hoping I was going to do a faster time ! never mind but I did throw up mid way without stopping urghhhh grossss lol
5k run 19;47 mins well it was faster than last time although last time I had an injury my calf went and I hopped and skipped this part of the race lol so yeah glad it was much faster borked during this part of the race and at the end
1st lady by nearly 2mins woohooo
21st overall inc the men
Had some lovely cake at the end and they did a buff with the event on it for finnishers !

other ladies congratulation me after the 1st run ! really nice people I love it.
On the way Home I threw up and felt ill for about 2 hours not nice I think I pushed myself really hard after no taper and probably still jet lagged its taken its toll on me this week but all good stuff.
Hmmmmmmm cakkkkkkeeeeeee mmmmmmmm pain this is the run after the bike its pure pain really !!!!
