Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Paced my friend Josh for a tempo workout this morning.  He ran 1:37 at AF half last year and is hoping to PR this year.  We warmed up two miles and then started the progressive tempo 7:37, 7:27, 7:10.  1 mile cooldown.  This was all on flat and we were talking and not pushing all out so I feel confident he is capable of 1:35.  As for me these paces felt incredibly easy.  What is going on with me?  It is very exciting how this whole running thing is just "clicking" for me.

Oh how I'm feelin' ya on that one. Isn't it nice to see faster paces and feel good and not like you are killing yourself? yipee!! Nice job Rachelle. I hope to keep up with him on Saturday.

So great. I love when things just start to come together and make sense. Sounds like you are training just right!

nice! have fun on saturday...if you want to make it a double race day, all you have to do is run a 1:35. you will have approximately 25 minutes to get to highland high in SLC. totally doable ;)
