Paced my friend Josh for a tempo workout this morning. He ran 1:37 at AF half last year and is hoping to PR this year. We warmed up two miles and then started the progressive tempo 7:37, 7:27, 7:10. 1 mile cooldown. This was all on flat and we were talking and not pushing all out so I feel confident he is capable of 1:35. As for me these paces felt incredibly easy. What is going on with me? It is very exciting how this whole running thing is just "clicking" for me. |
