I decided that if I felt okay this morning after some easy recovery miles I would try to finish the last few miles strong. I am pacing Riverton Half tomorrow so I didn't want to beat myself up too bad but also know I probably wont get anything hard in after the race because of the crazy weather.
First 6 miles were easy recovery (8:40 pace) and then I did just 2 faster miles 7:12, 6:55. Cooled down for 1.5 mile. Not too much of a workout really but it felt good to hit those paces without an "all out" effort and I think I will still be good to go for Riverton in the morning. |
