hehe! You were so funny today. "how long did you go for?" :P You are so cute in your bright yellow! You ran next to my friend Jessica! She is training for las vegas Marathon! Do you know her? Great work out!

I usually love the good ole mill. But not today. No bueno!

Kira- yes I have talked to jessica a few times, she is SO NICE! I have tons of friends running the Vegas marathon I will have to tell her. I think I am going to do the half. You should do it?

From Kira Bell on Thu, Aug 04, 2011 at 12:24:13 from 74.220.196.214

She is nice! Just like you! So many fun peeps in the running world huh? :) I want to run a half, but I feel a little bad paying money when my honey is out of a job :( So we shall see ! in the mean time... I shall be practicing ;) ;)

The Vegas half is definitely pricey. If you are looking for cheaper options you should consider Mt. Nebo, if you use code "timphalf" you save $5 and it makes it $40.

Or there is an all girls marathon on Aug 27th called Utah Runner Girls half and if you use code "girl25" you save $25 making it like $35. :):)

You are so ready for a half btw!!!

*stunned face* You really are so nice! Why thank you soooo much, 1- for the good deals, and 2- for the flattering comment, I dont feel ready, but I see so many people do it so I know its doable :)

Don't stab yourself in the eye with a pencil. You could get lead poisoning. Ok Rachelle? If that really is your name. The bib in your profile picture says AMY!!!

From Rachelle on Thu, Aug 04, 2011 at 12:55:16 from 159.212.71.173

Kira you are too cute! I know you have ran 8 miles, and if you can run 8 miles you can definitely do a half. I think the Nebo one would be perfect for a first half because it is a nice gradual downhill the entire way. And it is Sept 10th so that would give you a full month to train. I would love to do 9-10 miles with you anytime.

Burt- so funny you noticed my Alias. ;)

eek! is the pencil sharpened?

nice job with the treadmill miles. i used to put quite a bit of miles in on the TM (up to 60mpw!) but then one day i just snapped -- i couldn't stay on for longer than 2:00. i have now been TM free for 15 months. maybe someday i will go back, but only if they find a way to make gyms odorless.

but TM or not, great job on getting in a good run at a nice solid pace. keep it up! :)
