Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

6.5 miles easy Santaquin Orchard Loop.  Naturally picked up the pace towards the end of the run.  I am actually loving the extra half hour of sleep I am getting this week.  My body was ready for this cut back.

Still debating the SF 5k on Sat.  My left hamstring bothers me when I run fast and lengthen my stride and I just don't want to do anything stupid.  I'll most likely wait until Sat morning to decide on the race.

PM:  2 miles easy with the puperoni.

The goal race is the marathon. Do whatever will you get there healthy!

Yep it would be cool to see what you can do on a flat 5K right now, but at the same time - you don't want to pull that hammy a week before the marathon.

Stinky bodies. Just cooperate with us, would ya?!? You're being smart and I have no better advice than the 2 amazing pieces given above.

Glad you are enjoying the sleep!!

Great coaching from Andrea and Jake. You could always throw in a little tempo push into your Saturday run to test the wheels and ease off at the slightest sign of distress. We would all love to see your hard work pay of in a great marathon.

You could join Sasha and I at 7:30am for 15 miles of fun up and down Provo Canyon. We will probably do three fast miles somewhere in the middle.
