Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Ran a quick route after work. Temps in the twenties. It's going to get cold tonight. 10 to 15 below zero is the prediction. I am soooo ready for spring.
I have the rest of the week off. Prepared for a test and a talk and helped the wife with house work. Ran up the hill and back this afternoon. Temps were a brisk 10 degrees.
Nice afternoon. 8 miles, 4 with Hanna. Temps at 16 or so. No wind to speak of. Weather man said that we could be in the 30's by the first of next week! Ya!
Some quick miles with Hanna. We did some interval work. She loved it. Not sure on my pace and all. My Polar watch is being repaired so we just ran by time. She needs a bath. That is the big draw back with her.....Goldens and their long hair.
