Recently had a baby boy this year!!

Short-Term Running Goals:

Getting back into running since I had baby #2. Run injury free!

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Honestly I just love to run, and I hope that I can do it the rest of my life..until the day I die!

I am married to a wonderful hubby, who has ran 3 marathons and a half ironman with me! I have 2 cute boys and a dog!

met with Heidi and Court and did 6 mile santa clara loop. I can tell I haven't ran in 1+ week (Went to Yellowstone last week, I packed my running clothes/shoes....didn't put them on once!!!!!! I enjoyed last weeks R and R, but majorly regretting it on our morning run!)

Ran with Heidi and Court the first 4 miles at 7:30 to 7:40 pace, the last 2 miles ran by myself at 8:30 to 9:00 pace.....I feel so out of shape, but just motivation to get better!

Right after I was going to go swimming with Peggy, but she slept in, so I ended up going to crossfit

Crossfit

Chelsea  (30 min)

5 pull ups

10 push ups

15 airsquats

(I did around 29 of these, but I lost count......I actually liked this workout!)

 

Came home and Breanna brought over a bike saddle for me to borrow, that has a split seat. I am excited to try it.....hope it will help my bike rides be more comfy.....might go on a ride later today....after a nap!

had option to do track workout with Cathy and Crew or Run up Snow Canyon with Cheri....both are not my favorite. I opted Snow Canyon in hopes to do track later on my own....ha ha ha, hope I follow through with my plans!

Pace was nice, able to have a conversation the whole way up!

Avg pace: going up 9:45

Total Avg pace: 8:46

 

rode bike with ryan and kids in tow. went 12 miles. Tried out new bike seat Breanna is letting me use....so far so good!

ran 8 miles with Cheri. Did summit loop. my watch died this morning, so I grabbed ryan's watch. I couldn't figure out how to use it. It didn't record anything, but every time I looked at the pace it said around 7:45-8:10 min miles......so Ill just call it  8:00ish avg pace.

Tonight planning on going to the Tri club swim/bike workout at the lake.....why does this make me so nervous?

K, so the swim/bike workout wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! Everyone was extremely nice. Swam 1 mile. (even though I feel like I swam  way more, because I am all over the place in that lake, I seriously need to work on swimming straight)

Biked 15 miles. Had to stop several times to adjust my seat and oh ya, something is wrong with my clips. I couldn't get my Left foot clipped in. I had to take my shoe off, clip it on, then put my foot in! AWESOME!

I think I am nuts...I just signed up for the UTAH HALF DISTANCE IRONMAN next month....I have never done a triathlon, but guess I better start somewhere!

Woowza! Im tired.

Today ran 13 down SG marathon course with Pegg and Cheri. I was suppose to do 15, but I slept in, so I had to come find them on the course and it was so hard, because I think I saw over 100 people running, but I finally found them. Had a good pace. I pushed myself....but I felt that I had plenty left in the tank (for the rest of my day!)

Avg pace: 7:36

 

After, went home picked up Ryan and cousin Randy and headed out to Sand Hallow.

Swam 1 mile along the Dam then did a 15 mile bike ride after.

Came home and kids were ready for a nap! Yeah! So I joined in!
