K...this is really really gross! But it explains why I can't run for 1 week. I had a blister on my toe (no big deal right????) Well after it popped on my saturday run and then I went to Sand Hallow that day. FYI: Sand Hallow isn't the cleanest lake. I actually to the "Swimmer Itch" there a few weeks ago. But even worse, I got some sort of bacteria in my blister. I woke up Sunday morning and my toe was huge, swollen, tender. Monday morning I went to the podiatrist and he said he had to remove my toenail because he thought the infection spread to the root of the nail. Well it didn't spread (whew!), and he said I caught it early enough that it didn't get to bad. Anyway, He said no running for a week and I am on 2 diff antibiotics.....so crazy!
I am kinda depressed this week because I can't run or swim....I am hoping to bike this weekend. I did go to crossfit today and that was fun.....but i just love to run so much more! WOD J.T. (for time) 21-15-9 handstand push-ups, ring dips, push-ups
