After a great night of sleep (it always pays to go to bed early), I woke up to a good 5 inches of snow in the driveway. I quickly shoveled out the driveway then hopped on my very old ten-speed and peddled over to Highland to meet up with Fritz, Jake, Nate, Kevin, and Rob for a group run. We ended up doing a 10.7-mile loop trough Mill Creek, Holladay, and back at a comfortable pace. Even though would had to slush through the snow at times, it was nice run and a great start to the day.

Non running workout: 100 sit-ups and 9.4 miles on the bike

Hey Allie! The most humorous part of it all is that I was riding up Highland Drive and the drivers were very nice in giving me plenty of room (which they should be when there is hardly anyone on the road Sunday morning). However, most of them had 6 inches of snow on their cars. This van passed me with closer to a foot of snow and a good chuck of it went flying off and hit me in the face. It was sort of funny in that van was really trying to drive cautiously around me. As always, fun times and it was good you took a day off.
