After twelve straight days at work, I was just sluggish and had to really dig down deep to grind out 16.1 mile on the Elliptical. I was just happy to complete this workout. Thank goodness it's Friday!

My non-running workout consisted of another recovery day of 300 sit-ups and I short 30-second wall sit.

5-minute Plank Challenge: planning to start up again on the weekend if my shin is strong enough

Trying-To-Go-Out-Of-My-Way-To-Eat-Healthy Daily Challenge: serving of mixed fruit and whole wheat pancakes

way to get the workout done even though you felt sluggish. i totally know that feeling -- by friday i am pretty much useless.

congrats on your acceptance to the NYC marathon. have you done it before? i'm sure it will be a great experience.

hope your shin is improving.

I just had a thought. Why don't you change the name of your Ragnar team to Rossy's Posse?

From Rossy on Sat, Feb 12, 2011 at 18:14:56 from 167.138.234.17

Thanks Allie and this will be my first NYC Marathon and my first time back to the Big Apple since right before my sophomore year of college, so August 2001. I cannot wait!

Preston, yeah I was off of FBR for most of the week since I could not find time to post my entries. In short, just way too busy at work having to fly to Charlotte and back. However, I was able to keep up the running!

Burt, "Rossy's Posse" has a nice ring to it for my Ragnar team, but we are going with "Shoulda Bought Puts: Team of Sams" for this year's race. In short, way too many great Wasatch Back memories behind this name.
