Managed to squeeze out 9 easy miles this morning, first 3 were rough then it got easier.  The treadmill stalled on me halfway through, I'm sure glad it didn't do that to me on my treadmill marathon, I would have been mad.

Off to Brazil tomorrow so I'm not sure how running is going to go next week.  I'm a little nervous, I travel a lot but for some reason Brazil seems a little bit scary, especially since I'm going alone.

Do you speak Portuguese?

Have fun in Brazil! Hope it's not too scary :)

Thanks guys, I'm sure the Marriott and the airport shuttle are absolutely terrifying:), but I would kind of like to get off of the hotel treadmill and explore if anyone has any idea how safe it is to run in Sao Paulo. Chad?

I've only been to the airport in Sao Paulo and don't know anything about the area. I spent my mission in the north. I used to speak Portuguese but it's been almost 20 years and I've forgotten a significant amount. So boa sorte (good luck).

I'm sure there are plenty of safe areas to run but don't run in the wrong ones. Americans can sometimes be targeted. I don't mean to scare you, just be careful.
