OK, I'm going to do it.  I'm going down to Des News signup today and registering.  I really like that you can procrastinate till the absolute last minute and still get into this race.  I'm in no way any shape to be doing anything amazing I just want to go soak in the atmosphere and feel like a runner again so the plan is just to go talk to people and have a fun time.

1 mile warmup, then a 3 mile run at 6:30 pace just to test the joints and make sure I don't have pain at that pace, I actually don't remember the last time I went into a race without some pain so that's a definite plus that I feel really good for once. The Hip may be a bit tight but I'll just stretch and ice it good tonight and it should be fine.

You are CRAZY!!! I like it, and I think you might surprise yourself :) I love that you can procrastinate for this race, I wish you could for more races!

If I didn't think I'd get hurt I might. I'm signed up for the Speedy Spaniard, I'm nervous enough for that!!

The marathon?!? I love that people are in awesome enough shape that they can just decide to do a marathon tomorrow...

I really have no idea if I'm in enough shape to do it. It's kind of an experiment ;)

Thanks Bam, hey isn't the pub about about close :)

I'm going to try this warmup routine tomorrow before the race, it seemed to work for this girl.

Track needs more girls like her. This is where Title IX can really be a good thing.
