OK, I'm going to do it. I'm going down to Des News signup today and registering. I really like that you can procrastinate till the absolute last minute and still get into this race. I'm in no way any shape to be doing anything amazing I just want to go soak in the atmosphere and feel like a runner again so the plan is just to go talk to people and have a fun time. 1 mile warmup, then a 3 mile run at 6:30 pace just to test the joints and make sure I don't have pain at that pace, I actually don't remember the last time I went into a race without some pain so that's a definite plus that I feel really good for once. The Hip may be a bit tight but I'll just stretch and ice it good tonight and it should be fine.
