I think I'm really going to pay for this one tomorrow.  got out early as planned, ran out to the GoldenGate bridge as planned but by the time I got there I realized I was going to be lucky to make it back, hip was hurting, legs were just sore so instead of climbing the hill to the bridge I turned around and came back.  Good run but I think jumping from 8 miles as my long run to 12 was too much.

I remember when this used to be my daily run and would only take me about 1:20 to complete.  Today it just about killed me and took almost 2 hours.  With a site seeing break and bathroom break.

run to the GG bridge -- sounds awesome. sorry your hip was bugging. 12 miles though! that's great.

Rob are you working out there now? We might make it out that way this year. My sister-in-law is living there now.

No, I work out of hotel rooms. Our corporate office is in Mountain View so I'm there sometimes.

I think you'll be fine and bounce back quick. Nice run.

Yeah Rob, it's finally starting to come back to me. If I play it smart I should be back to my normal self again someday.
