Since my car was at work I had no choice but to ride my bike back. Pretty hammered from yesterday and my butt was really sore, so my time was pretty slow compared to coming home. Followed the Traverse Mountain road around Draper, even though I thought I knew it didn't, it sure seemed like it should have linked up with Wasatch Bvld, But when I got to the end I found out it didn't. So I had to backtrack back to 123rd down to 13th East and back up the brutal hill climb up to Wasatch Blvd. Caught up with some older guy and ended up riding up Little Cottonwood canyon with him for a bit and then went back down the canyon to my work. Route ended up being 26 miles in 1:34, it's a really great workout but if I'm going to commute I think I need to find a little flatter route. I'd like to get my commute down to 1 hour if I absolutely need to and just make it longer for harder days. |
