5:00 am. First time on a treadmill in over 2 weeks, but I didn't feel like running in the dark this morning plus it seemed kind of windy. Did 4 miles at about 6:45 pace, then decided to do a quick 5K sim. I started out trying to hold a 5:40 pace but that only lasted for about 1.6 miles, had to slow it down for 1/4 mile and then got back up to 5:50 pace to finish it off. Ended up doing the 5K in 18:42. I'm sure I could have done it in 18:00 but I went out to hard to start. Need to stop doing that. Just put my 12 week training schedule together for TOU. Pretty Brutal, up to 100 miles a week, and considerably more speed work than my last schedule.
