20 slow miles around noon in Smithfield and up/down Smithfield Canyon. Slow run in the heat. I drank a total of four 16 oz water bottles I placed on the course. One at mile 8, 10.6, 15, and 17. Four pounds of water and I still lost 6 pounds of water on the run. 199 when I started, 193 when I finished. I drank all day and was back up to 199 in no time.
I think it's time to start running earlier in the morning when it is cooler. |
