11.5 at 8:50. 1 at 8:27. 1.25 at 5:55 pace. (Wimped out, was going to try to do a full 5k but decided to just do some sprints) .25 sprints as part of drills and accelerations.

Kelli, my son is really a great kid. However, before his band director knew he was already nicknamed Dwight, the band director and drumline director were secretly referring to him as Dwight as well. It absolutely solidified his nickname when he said to them, just like Dwight does but without realizing it, "Question." That first year when drumline positions were posted, it had all the other kids names (first and last) posted and then simply "Dwight" for my boy. We all get a good kick out of it.
