First attempt at speedwork since my appendectomy. Nothing too spectacular just did 10 min tempo runs with 3 min AR. Was going for a pace of 8 min/mile and got pretty close. 7:50, 7:55 and 8:05 for the three tempo runs.
Ran up Kitt Peak. It was a great run I felt really good going up the back dirt road. It was steep in places but not too terrible. I decided to run back down the paved road and pick up the downhill pace to strengthen the downhill legs. I was a little surprised how fast it was going down. I was pretty sore after it was over i think the downhill legs really neede the speed workout.
