Since my knee has been bothering me more this week, I tried a new method of running. I did a .25 warm-up walk, ran 1.25 miles at 6.4 mph. then tapered down one notch for every .25 miles. I ended up running 4.25 miles in 43:00, then did a .5 mile cool down. My knee popped a little in the stretching afterward and now it feels great. I think I might start doing this kind of run whenever I have the time to. It felt great and I didn't feel tired at all when I was done. |
