I took the weekend off and just tried to stretch my left calf and tailbone a lot. Today I squeezed in a run on my way to the chiropractor. Serious issues with the tailbone-even Dr. Clifford noticed it. He said basically that all my flexers were completely out and my symmetry is non-existent right now. Sooooo, I'm supposed to spend extra time stretching morning and night and go back on Friday to finish the adjustment. Man, what a difference it's already made though! Anyways, I've decided that I'm pushing a little too much in the speed department and that might be at least partially causing some of my recent issues, so I slowed back down a little bit and it felt better. I ran 3.25 in 30:34 then did a .5 mile cool down. I did pause a couple of time to stretch. Hopefully this all goes away soon!
