Personal:
I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties. Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation. It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again. Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

strength training, trying to avoid blowing up my legs
Started feeling good at mile 7 but ended running angry the last mile thinking about how much easier and faster this would be if I just lost some weight. At 210 lbs now versus 175 lbs at Boston back in 2009. This is not rocket science. Happy with overall result given the heart related setbacks I’ve had but still irks me a bit. It’s Good Friday so need to put aside the selfishness.
