Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness and life.

Progression to 7:30 pace then did 2 mi total of 0.25-0.50 fartleks @ 5K-10K pace (7:23 avg pace overall).  I banged my knee hard on a church pew on Sunday so I'm keeping things low key until that heals.  It feels like an internal bruise right in the location of the ITB insertion.

Thanks. Yeah, I cracked the knee while escorting one of my children out. It's getting better though. Glad to see you are on the mend as well. Man, I already miss those sunny 50+ degree days, don't you?
