Completed a dozen marathons and a handful of 50 mile ultras.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Consistent aerobic and strength training.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Participate in 5k and 10k races.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

PM:  EP 1 mi, MP 5 mi, and EP 2.7 mi (7:21 avg, 125 HR avg).  Temps in upper 70s, sunny, and windy.  Injury feeling much better.  I continue to be careful so another one doesn't pop up due to over compensation.

Good to see your getting that hammy under control in a hurry. Feeling better while doing MP miles is a good sign.

Yes, thank you. Good to see you are keeping injuries at bay yourself. Your race is right around the corner, right?

Yes. Next Saturday. I feel like I'm just ready for some good training now not a marathon but oh well there's always the next one.
