Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

One of those days.  Easy run, but was doubting my ability to run a PR at Boston the whole time.  I kept thinking about the things I haven't done and how the effort level felt harder than it should for 4 measily miles.  No "runner's high" today!!

It is called Taper madness and it happens to nearly everyone! Hang in there and just trust your training and plan on having fun!

I have definitely heard of taper madness before, and it seems you have the symptoms! Just don't doubt yourself, you've put in great mileage and are fully prepared to PR at Boston!
