Sub 1:35 in half marathon.  Then might consider taking a shot at full marathon again.

Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Felt pretty darn good given how my running consistency has been lacking since starting college courses.  Taking prereq science courses before filing an application for med school.  It's been a while since I've tried to crack physics and chemistry problems.  I have to stick to my running as well.  It's been there for me through thick and thin.

Robert,

Great to see you plugging away! Good plan to stick with the running. I actually ran 5-miles per/day during 1 year of my seminary training (before my running days) because I didn't have access to a gym. Found it very therapeutic. Also, found the time helpful in processing subject material.

Haven't sprained this one since college- probably did so 3-4 times playing intermural b-ball (illegally, so had to learn to hide my injuries from the baseball coach). I'm a fairly quick healer, yet this one had me worried for a couple of days. Seems like I'm on the mend.

Awesome run! I admire you for the dedication to go back to school.

Thanks guys. It's been a strange transition back to school, but I feel like this is where I belong right now. Once again, chasing after another goal, but not running related this time. I told the Mrs. I'm really going to miss Boston and heading up to G-ma's marathon every year, but we're in penny pinch mode so I'll have to stay local for now.
