Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Another struggle and could not hold pace. Temp was 78-83 and humidity was 60-70. I was sweating heavily and could not keep fluid intake high enough. Came home frustrated, drank as much as I could and then went back out to mow the lawn for an hour. Super tired now. Beginning to wonder if I should just take up golf again. That can be just as frustrating though.

Easy to get frustrated on days like this but a solid run in the heat on top of a high mileage week. This will pay off later and have one of those days where you feel like you are floating on air. Besides golf is even more frustrating. Ha

Thanks bro! We runners are hard on ourselves.

Yes, we do beat up on ourselves quite a bit. Seems easier to cheer others on then our self for some reason. Heating back up so stay cool.
