Completed a dozen marathons and a handful of 50 mile ultras.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Consistent aerobic and strength training.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Participate in 5k and 10k races.
Personal:
I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties. Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation. It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again. Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

All easy. Lots of thinking about making a titanic career change requiring more college time.

Running is a good time to think...what kinda career change?

Yes, lots of time to ponder and the miles just flew by. I'm embarking on some kind of healthcare profession. A long commitment to turning the ship, but as in running, nothing is impossible.

You are right nothing is impossible and it is never too late to do something that you like. Career change is a tough decision so it is a lot to think about. Good luck!
