Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Ran around the neighborhood doing all kinds of goofy loops.  Did the guy thing and made up some nicknames for running mileage.  Came up with these while running today.

8 = Snowman

9 = Jimi 6

10 = Dime

11 = Snake Eyes

12 = Twelver

13 = Baker's Dozen

14 = Charlie Hustle

Just happened to stumble across your blog today and noticed the nicknames. Nice! Kinda funny what kind of things can pop into your head during a run. But I was just wondering...so is anything below 8 not worthy of a nickname? What about 15+?

All are worthy a nickname! Just decided to start at 8 and could only think of these, but I usually call 5 miles "nickels". I simply lost my creativity at 15.
