Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Easy long run at a slightly faster pace than the usual easy.  Got tired the last 2 miles, but it was humid as all get out and I was sweating like a dog.

What a week.  I was hoping to bank more miles, but was watching the kids most days as my wife worked at her Discovery Toys booth at the Iowa State Fair and most of my free time was filled with finding employment.  The good news is I finally received a job offer on Thursday!!!  Decided to accept the position on Monday and then plan for the relocation.  Still a little stressed because I keep thinking something might happen to blow the whole deal.  As you can tell, I've become extremely paranoid during my unemployment.

Congratulations on the job. Sympathies on the relocation. Moving is a major pain in the backside...but then, you are a runner so you're probably used to that. Nice mileage this morning.

Thanks Kam. I have an 11 yr. old that is going to have a hard time with the move. It wasn't what I planned, but these are the days of "gotta do what you gotta do". You know?
