Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

AM: Perfect weather for a run.  Ran as my body dictated again and this time it ended up being a glorified jog.  Felt great and I didn't want it to end, but have to get to work.

PM: Sunny and nearly 70 dg. outside so I felt like taking an easy trot around the lake.  I took it real slow in parts to take in the St. Pat's parade.  I didn't want to go back to the desk.

Running the way you feel is always the best way to go most days. It's good to see someone out running for pleasure instead of always just training..

Hope you are feeling better. Nice running so far this week even with the chest problem.

Thanks. Yes, chest/rib cage is feeling better and only makes itself known during a firm cough. I'm trying to enjoy running and the process more than I have in several years. I'm burned out on typcial training programs and tired of chasing the clock. So I'm running like a kid again and going the way of the tortoise. I probably don't belong on a "fast running blog" anymore, but I've come to enjoy the site.

Glad you are feeling better, both physically and mentally about running (running for fun is great!).

Of course you belong on the FRB, as we have also enjoyed having you in the community.

Great workouts. Your really coming on. Good to see you putting the mileage in. It's great to just run and enjoy the daylight.

Hey Robert, you belong here for sure, and thanks for the advice, its funny I am on a reasonably easy few days after a short race, and I am enjoying the easy runs, but I am sure i will enjoy my hard session tomorrow just as much.

Good on you for enjoying running so much! :)
