| | Out running on the first day of the year like everyone else. Nice day. The air wasn't too bad for SLC in the winter. Not nearly as warm as Seattle though.

| | Howling winds and torrential rain overnight and this morning. Wimped out and slept in instead of going to run with the CRRs. About 1:00pm the rain cleared briefly and the winds died down. Decided to get a run in before the Seahawks game got too far along. Ran down to Soos Creek and did an out and back. Didn't really plan on doing 10 but sort of worked my way into it. Lots of debris on the trail. Branches and twigs everywhere. The rain didn't hold off for long. Wasn't a downpour just a steady soaker. | | Out and back from the Lake Wilderness lodge with the Cedar River Runners. Beautiful day. Clear and cool in the Pacific NW. Great group. I think this is the quickest I've run this route.
